Dear beloved EM Community,
This morning I woke up with the question: “What am I taking for granted?”
In that moment, I became aware of the sensation of the sun on my face and the warmth of the bed covers over my body. I began to write in my journal and my awareness expanded to my breath and the fact that my hands and fingers could translate my thoughts on paper. The question “what am I taking for granted?” has ignited a moment-to-moment appreciation of my precious body and the knowledge that I can have choices regarding how I want to move through my day. For example, I frequently ask myself how I do I lead with love toward others and myself? Do I water that plant or call/text someone I know who is grieving? Do I remind myself to take time to take care of my body, by walking, dancing, exercising, and pausing frequently, to take in what touches me in my surroundings?
My beloved community, I am feeling touched by you and have been blessed with the gift of connecting with so many all across the globe. Today I am reminded with gratitude not to take any of this for granted. So now I am offering you this question: “what are you taking for granted?” What can that question open for you?
